During his active duty service, Dr. Jonny organized and promoted numerous community health outreach events for children and volunteered many hours to provide dental care to the under-served pediatric population. Through his volunteerism, Dr. Jonny found his calling and passion to work with children. Wanting to provide the best care possible for his pediatric patients, he pursued additional education to specialize in pediatric dentistry. Dr. Jonny went on to complete his Pediatric Dental Residency through NYU Lutheran at the Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage in which he received extensive specialty training in all aspects of pediatric dentistry, including comprehensive full mouth rehabilitation under general anesthesia in the operating room setting. Certified in BLS, ACLS and Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Dr. Jonny is also a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry as well as the American Dental Association and New Hampshire Pediatric Dental Society.

When asked why he chose the Pediatric Field, his face lit up with a bright, caring smile, “Because kids are so much fun to work with. It’s so important to care for them early in life to not only protect and promote their health and happiness as children but it will also help them grow into happy and healthy adults as well - its NOT just about teeth.”

Dr. Jonny, who was born in Hanover, Pennsylvania and grew up in West Chester, PA, now calls Southwestern NH home with his wonderful wife of twelve years, Sara and their 2 beautiful daughters, Holden, who is 12, and Thompson, 17. After many moves due to education and military service, they are thrilled to finally have a community to call home. As nature enthsiasts, they love all things outdoors, especially hiking and camping.

Dr. Boswell pursued his specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at the Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage, AK – during his time there, he treated children from across the state and was named Chief Resident by his attending faculty.

Following his residency training, Colin returned to the Midwest to practice prior to joining his former co-resident and good friend Dr. Jonny Norris in New Hampshire.

Colin enjoys spending time with his family and friends; cooking meals and conversation; playing sports including basketball and tennis, reading, climbing, hiking; and traveling to engage and take part in different cultures.

Dr. Boswell is a Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist. He currently holds staff privileges at Monadnock Community Hospital in Peterborough, NH.

Dr. Bryn's family, including his wife Lauren, daughters Quinn (6), Cleo (3), and a baby on the way, inspire his compassionate and caring approach to dentistry. His passion for dental care was sparked by his brothers and his childhood mentor, Dave, who was also his dentist growing up.

With a career spanning since 2017, Dr. Bryn has practiced in Wisconsin and Iowa for two years each, treating a diverse range of patients from infants to the elderly. He loves making dental visits fun and light-hearted, connecting with children on their level to ensure a positive experience.

Dr. Bryn’s approach to pediatric dental care involves explaining procedures to children, using fun and creative ways to engage them actively in their health. He believes in involving children in their care by telling them what to expect, showing them the process, and allowing them to participate, which helps put them at ease.

He advocates for minimally invasive treatments, which put kids through less traumatic experiences, actively treat the disease process to prevent future problems, and yield more effective and predictable results. Dr. Bryn recalls a memorable experience where he helped a very scared and shy child, who had been through tough, invasive treatments at another office, to feel comfortable and excited about coming back to the dentist.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Bryn enjoys traveling, spending time with his family, staying active through workouts, playing tennis, and golf. He also plays drums at his church and has participated in a dental mission trip to Haiti.

Dr. Bryn is always keeping up with the latest advancements in pediatric dentistry, although he humorously notes that some can be quite simple—just paint SDF and squish glass ionomer. His favorite food is olive oil, and he finds joy in the funny things kids say during their visits.

His dental advice to parents is straightforward: "Keep it simple: brush before bed, limit the duration and frequency of snacking." He firmly believes in the principle that "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure" and aims to be part of a paradigm shift in delivering quality, preventive-based care to as many kids as possible.

Dr. Bryn finds the most rewarding part of being a dentist is helping people be the healthiest version of themselves when it comes to their oral health. He hopes to encourage kids to take care of their mouths, instilling skills and habits that they can apply to the rest of their lives.

While this is his first professional role outside of dental school, Dr. Arvene brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to Montshire Pediatric Dentistry. His initial career path included a year as a research associate at Yale University, focusing on wound healing. Although he found the work rewarding, Dr. Arvene realized his true passion lay in more direct patient care. Inspired by shadowing family friends who were dentists, he saw firsthand how compassionate care could build strong, trusting relationships, especially with younger patients.

Dr. Arvene is deeply interested in dental research that promotes minimally invasive treatments, staying updated on the latest advancements to ensure his patients receive the best possible care. He has also been actively involved in volunteering, including providing free dental care at South Park Inn’s dental clinic in Hartford and working at UConn’s pediatric clinic during an elective externship. His experiences have solidified his belief in the importance of early preventive treatment and access to dental care for all.

At Montshire Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Arvene is committed to creating a positive and comforting experience for young patients. He believes in involving children in their care, making sure they understand what’s happening during their appointments to ease any fears. Dr. Arvene loves connecting with his patients over their interests, whether it's sports, favorite school subjects, or cool hobbies, making each visit enjoyable and building lasting friendships.

In his free time, Dr. Arvene enjoys playing and watching soccer, with Manchester United and New England Revolution being his favorite teams. He also loves visiting museums, reading sci-fi books, playing video games with friends, and traveling.

Dr. Arvene’s favorite piece of advice comes from a fantastic UConn dental faculty member: “Treat everyone you meet like they’re a part of your family.” This philosophy guides his approach to pediatric dentistry, ensuring every child feels valued and cared for at Montshire Pediatric Dentistry.

After discovering his love for the White Mountains while at Dartmouth College, Dr. Ryan pursued his dental degree at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. There, his commitment to community health and prevention earned him special recognition. But he knew that being an excellent pediatric dentist required more than just clinical skills – it demanded an understanding of how children learn and develop. This led him to pursue a Masters in Education at Harvard as a Zuckerman Fellow, focusing on early childhood development and effective teaching strategies.

His pediatric dental residency at Boston Children's Hospital proved transformative. Working with medically complex patients reinforced his belief in minimally invasive dentistry – an approach that treats the underlying causes of dental disease rather than just the symptoms. This experience aligned perfectly with Montshire's philosophy of preventing problems before they start. In the dental chair, Dr. Ryan (as his young patients call him) is known for his corny jokes and engaging personality. He gets down to kids' level, uses humor to build trust, and makes every visit an opportunity for positive learning. His favorite dental advice, "Nuts and cheese fight disease!" captures his knack for making dental education memorable and fun.

Dr. Ryan actively shares his expertise as a mentor to students at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, helping shape the next generation of prevention-focused dentists. He brings this same educational spirit to every patient interaction, empowering families to take charge of their oral health through simple, effective strategies.

When he's not helping kids achieve healthy smiles, Dr. Ryan channels his energy into outdoor adventures. He's an avid mountain biker and rock climber, and proudly completed the Presidential Traverse – a challenging 23-mile hike across seven peaks – in a single day. This adventurous spirit and can-do attitude carry over into his dental practice, where he tackles each challenge with enthusiasm and optimism.

At Montshire, Dr. Ryan combines his extensive training, prevention-focused approach, and natural ability to connect with kids to deliver dental care that's both effective and enjoyable. His goal is simple: help every child develop a lifetime of healthy dental habits while having fun along the way.
